The ski slopes and cross-country tracks around Santa Caterina Valfurva are renowned: they have hosted various World Cup Competitions, the Alpine Ski World Championships in 1985, they also hosted the FIS World Cup Finals in 2000 and gave hospitality for theAlpine Ski World Championships in the coming 2005.
