Santa Caterina Valfurva is surrounded by the high peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale group and is located right in the heart of Stelvio National Park.
The right climate and the advanced snow systems guarantee perfect ski slopes from November to April. The most important slope is the Deborah Compagnoni one. It was inaugurated on the occasion of the 2005 World Championships and it features a lighting system that allows fantastic night skiing experiences.

Santa Caterina Valfurva features several stunning itineraries which are just perfect for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. Valtellina track is structured along a wide plain and thick woods at an altitude of 1800 m. It is characterized by 5 and 10 km rings and ups and downs between 190 m and 390 m of altitude. The track shows original technical solutions and a demanding slope: they are much appreciated by the most experienced cross-country skiers.
